The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) mouse breeding facility at Kew produces approximately 100,000 genetically defined, disease free laboratory rodents every year.  Our animals are highly prized by WEHI researchers, and actively sought after by researchers from medical research institutions throughout Melbourne and Interstate.  The WEHI Kew bred laboratory rodents are regarded as the 'gold' standard in Australia.  The Kew facility has been in continual operation for in excess of forty years.

"For more than 10 years now we've been using Pollards fine pine sawdust as a cost effective absorbent material in cat litter trays. We presently have three cats which enjoy spending most of their time in an outdoor cat run, which has sawdust-filled trays for them to use.
